Now serving as general manager of Valley View Casino Center for the last 22 years, I’ve had the privilege of growing here and celebrating the building’s 50th anniversary. In 1993 I became the business manager, and with so much history in this building, it was easy to get on board with the arena’s mission to provide top notch sports and entertainment options to San Diegans. I started as an event coordinator at the arena doing everything from changeovers to concessions to marketing. I was excited by the possibility of working in sports and entertainment. In 1991, my father Ron Hahn and a group of investors began looking into the possibility of purchasing the leasehold interest in the San Diego Sports Arena, now called the Valley View Casino Center.
